Encouraging Lifelong Learning
The Library Service and Hull Children’s University worked in partnership to encourage children to become independent lifelong learners.
Children participated in a wide range of exciting learning modules which saw them visit the National Space Centre, tour local businesses, visit national museums and much more.
The visits were made during the school day, and students were accompanied by the Encouraging Lifelong Learning Co-ordinator.
They were encouraged to visit their local library independently to learn more about the subjects they had explored during their visit.
Every child who participated was presented with a specially selected book to keep.
