Reading Rooms Hull

Reading Rooms is a reading aloud and shared reading programme that gives participants a voice, reduces isolation and anxiety, and promotes wellbeing.

It is a legacy project established by the Verbal Arts Centre, Derry-Londonderry, as a City of Culture programme in 2013 and will be delivered locally by Hull Libraries throughout 2017/18.

Share in the experience of reading together, sparking memories, new thoughts and provoking conversations related to stories and poems.

Free open sessions run:

  • CENTRAL LIBRARY / 10:30 - 11:30am (ESOL)

  • FRED MOORE LIBRARY / 2 - 3pm
  • CENTRAL LIBRARY / 6 - 7pm
