Humber Mouth Literature Festival

Humber Mouth, now in its 25th year, is Hull’s annual literature festival.

The festival “has always sought to be different in the way that it presents both literature and Hull to the world.”  [Shane Rhodes, Artistic Director for Humber Mouth]

With a wide and varied programme of events for adults and children alike the festival showcases an eclectic mix of international and local writers, speakers, musicians, and artists, appearing at libraries and other key venues across Hull.

For further info see the Humber Mouth Literature Festival website.

In 2016, the Humber Mouth festival also awarded a number of Special Commissions with writers and artists of all media, and mediums, invited to apply.

The trust is pleased to help support this fine festival via Hull Library Services / Hull Culture & Leisure Ltd and alongside additional funders Hull City Council / Arts Council England / Hull 2017 UK City of Culture
