Reading Rooms Hull

Reading Rooms is a reading aloud and shared reading programme that gives participants a voice, reduces isolation and anxiety, and promotes wellbeing.

It is a legacy project established by the Verbal Arts Centre, Derry-Londonderry, as a City of Culture programme in 2013 and will be delivered locally by Hull Libraries throughout 2017.

Listen, share and enjoy literature and poetry at one of the free open sessions running weekly from September 2017:

  • INGS LIBRARY - Tuesdays / 2:15 - 3:15pm
  • CENTRAL LIBRARY - Wednesdays / 1:30 - 2:30pm and 6:15 - 7:15 pm
  • AVENUES LIBRARY - Thursdays / 2:30 - 3:30pm
